Portland pavements have been fitted to Šamorín's Church dating from the 13th century, as well as in other locations. The replacement of ancient brick or sandstone paving is unavoidable in many cases and Portland stone acts as the perfect replacement for the original material. Visually, it works in harmony with the historic material it replaces. Each individual pavement piece is unique due to its manual manufacture. From a technological point of view, it is absolutely hardwearing. Portland pavements are suitable for underfloor heating.
